Employees are advised to check their BenefitSolver account to view their health benefits coverage for 2025. Additional insurance ID cards or answers to specific questions regarding coverage, employees can contact their insurance carrier directly.

Atlantic City Public Schools offer Medical, Prescription, Dental and Vision to full-time employees after completing a 60-day waiting period. Coverage is through the NJ State Employees' Health Benefits Program. Alternatively, eligible employees may opt out of health coverage.
New employees will receive an email from BenefitSolver, the state's online benefits system. Whether new employees choose to enroll or waive coverage, they are required to complete their benefits elections online within their 60-day waiting period. Failure to do so will result in the employee's inability to enroll for health benefits until the next annual open enrollment.
To waive coverage, employees must complete the appropriate sections on BenefitSolver and provide proof of current health insurance coverage. There is also a district Waiver of Coverage form to complete. Waiver forms and proof of coverage are required annually.
