    Atlantic City's James Haney is The Press Boys Swimmer of the Year

    ames Haney was the Atlantic City High School boys swimming team’s top scorer in each of the past four seasons. His final race as a Viking was his biggest win of all.

    The Atlantic City High School girls crew team took home its share of first-place trophies last year. Many of the rowers who made that happen are back this spring.

    ACHS Viking News - March 2024

    In this March edition of Viking News, three ACHS athletes sign their college letters of intent. One of those athletes just won a state championship in swimming. The Robotics club makes an impressive debut in the state tournament and our seniors start making their college choices. Plus we look ahead to Battle by the Beach and look back at SEL Friday.

    The Seal of Biliteracy is an award given by a school, district, or state in recognition of students who have studied and attained proficiency in two or more languages by high school graduation. Atlantic City High School had 13 students awarded this year.

    Coast Guard helicopter visits Atlantic City JROTC students

    Members from the local U.S. Coast Guard Air Station flew 9½ miles in an orange Dauphin 2 helicopter from the FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center in Egg Harbor Township to the high school to visit students in the program.

    The Title I Parent Resource Center is offering an informational session on how to access and setup PowerSchool Parent Portal on March 6, 2024. It will be offered in Spanish, English, Bengali, Urdu and Hindi.
