Graduation Requirements for a New Jersey High School Diploma
4 years of English
4 years Physical Education/Health
3 years Social Studies (WH/US1/US2)
3 years Mathematics (must include Algebra 1 & Geometry)
3 years of Science (2 lab sciences-Biology/Chemistry/Environmental/Physics)
1 year of a World Language
1 year of an Elective (Visual & Performing Art)
1 year of an Elective (Career, Family & Life Skills, or Vocational-Technical Education)
1 year of Financial Literacy (Senior Year)

**STUDENTS MUST EARN A MINIMUM OF 120 CREDITS & PASS ALL REQUIREMENTS LISTED ABOVE IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN GRADUATION CEREMONIES**
A student needs:
- 30 credits to become a sophomore
- 60 credits to become a junior
- 90 credits to become a senior
