• 2360 - USE OF TECHNOLOGY

    The Board of Education recognizes that the use of technology in the educational process is essential as part of the schooling experience.  Technology is to be viewed as a tool to enhance the learning process among other tools that are required for teachers and students to fully explore the curriculum.  In addition, technology can be used to enhance the administration of the schools and the district.  In order to provide direction and meaning to the use of technology as an instructional tool, the Board directs that the Superintendent and the teaching and support staff use technology as a regular part of the learning process in every area of the curricular area.

  • 2361 - ACCEPTABLE USE OF TECHNOLOGY

    The Board of Education recognizes as new technologies shift the manner in which information is accessed, communicated, and transferredĶ¾ these changes will alter the nature of teaching and learning. Access to technology will allow pupils to explore databases, libraries, Internet sites, and bulletin boards while exchanging information with individuals throughout the world. The Board supports access by pupils to these information sources but reserves the right to limit inschool use to materials appropriate for educational purposes.

  • Student District Network Acceptable Use Policy

    Students are responsible for good behavior on school computer networks just as they are in a classroom or a school hallway.  The network is provided for students to conduct research and communicate with others.  Access to network services is given to students who agree to act in a considerate and responsible manner.

  • PĆ³liza del Distrito Aceptable para el uso de la Red - Spanish AUP

    Los estudiantes son responsables por mantener buen comportamiento navegando las redes electrónicas en la escuela al igual que en el salón de clase o en los pasillos. La red electrónica provee a los estudiantes un modo para realizar investigaciones y comunicarse con los demás. El acceso a los servicios electrónicos es concedido a los estudiantes que estén de acuerdo a comportarse de manera considerada y responsable.

  • 5512 - CYBERBULLYING POLICY

    The Board of Education prohibits acts of cyber-bullying by school district pupils through the use of any school district owned, operated, and supervised technologies.  The Building Principal or designee may report allegations of cyber-bullying to law enforcement authorities.

  • 8330 - PUPIL RECORDS

    The Board of Education believes that information about individual students must be compiled and maintained in the interest of the student’s educational welfare and advancement. The Board will strive to balance the student’s right to privacy against the district’s need to collect, retain, and use information about individual students and groups of students. The Board authorizes the establishment and maintenance of student files that include only those records mandated by law, rules of the State Board of Education, authorized administrative directive, and those records permitted by this Board.
